Given,
Since -1<0, f(-1) = -1 + 2 = 1
Since 3>0, f(3) = 1 - 3 = -2
To draw graph, calculating the points:
For f(x) = x+2 if x<0
f(-1) = -1+2 =1 ⇒ (-1, 1)
f(-2) = -2+2 = 0 ⇒ (-2, 0)
f(-3) = -3+2 = -1 ⇒ (-3, -1) and so on.
For f(x) =1-x if x>0
f(1) = 1-1 = 0 ⇒ (1, 0)
f(2) = 1-2 = -1 ⇒ (2, -1)
f(3)= 1-3 = -2 ⇒ (3, -2) and so on.
